About Atuttiarniq: Quttikturmiut

Atuttiarniq work across the Quttikturmiut Region began in early 2023. Atuttiarniq Quttikturmiut is a $14.8M project that includes 38 Government buildings in 6 Communities throughout the northern half of Baffin Island and beyond, including Nunavut’s northmost populated hamlets of Resolute and Grise Fiord. The project is focused on energy conservation in the buildings, and is expected to reduce annual energy costs by $1M (24%) and annual Greenhouse Gas emissions by 363 tonnes eCO2.
